Food sovereignty PROGRAMS

Inspired by the legacy of the Black Panther Party’s Free Breakfast for Children Program, we believe community care begins with meeting people’s basic needs. Access to food should never be a barrier to learning, wellness, or community participation.

Our free community breakfast is part of our commitment to community survival, collective care, and self-determination. We are creating a space where neighbors can share a meal, build meaningful relationships, access resources, and support one another.

We believe that caring for our community means more than talking about change. It means putting that care into practice, meeting immediate needs, and building the collective power necessary for our communities to thrive. Community survival is collective work.

COmmunity breakfast program

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, we show up for our unhoused neighbors by providing meals and practicing the power of community care. We believe everyone deserves access to food, dignity, and compassion, regardless of their circumstances. Through this effort, we are committed to meeting immediate needs, building meaningful connections, and reminding our neighbors that they are not forgotten.
